Goals

  • Ensuring at the project level, the project team, including change agents, and end users have the necessary skills and competencies to execute their roles and sustain lasting change in the organization. This stream covers identification of possible skill gaps, all training related activities, development of training material and documentation for end user and project teams. This stream may also extend to include the skills and competencies development of the members of a Center of Excellence.
  • Analysis of organization structures that have an impact on the success of the SAP implementation, identification and implementation of the changes that will enable and facilitate the desired benefits of the implementation. Work packages will include:
    • Structure analysis
    • Design of revised structure (incentives, rewards, unwritten rules etc
    • Implementation
  • The scope of OCM Safeguarding is to measure the impact of all OCM activities by different proven methods and tools and is linked to the people side of the project (e.g. acceptance). They are seen as complementary to the project controlling activities that are normally focused on “hard” project aspects (e.g. budget, time and scope). An objective and reliable evaluation of the OCM situation enables continuous improvement, early adaptation of the OCM strategy and is considered as one key success factor for the entire transformation process.
