  • Determine the required software components for ESS/MSS Architecture based on SAP NetWeaver 7.02
  • Explain the main installation and upgrade planning steps for setting up a new ESS/MSS landscape
  • Depict the XSS implementation and landscape in SAP NetWeaver Business Client (NWBC)
  • Describe the Solution Manager role during installation and maintenance of a SAP ESS/MSS landscape
  • Outline the required System Landscape Directory (SLD) configuration Steps for ESS/MSS landscape
  • Outline the technical connection of the SAP Enterprise Portal to the SAP back end system, including Single Sign-on (SSO) Configuration
  • Describe the technical configuration of ESS Business Packages in the SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal
  • Configure Adobe Document Services (ADS) and troubleshoot ADS configuration problems
  • Configure the Internet Graphics Service (IGS)
  • Outline the technical configuration of the ESS/MSS Java Web Dynpro application
  • Outline how to apply ESS/MSS Patches and Enhancement Packages

Notes

  • You can find additional information regarding the technology components in courses of the ADM and EP training curriculum. We recommend the courses ADM950, ADM960 and ADM102 for SSO and Web AS details. For Java and EP administration, we recommend the courses ADM200 and EP200, or TEP10.
  • Web Dynpro for Java Basics (Course JA310) is not part of this training.
