SACP34: Leveraging Advanced Features in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning

This course builds on the core planning skills developed in the Performing Manual Planning with SAP Analytics Cloud. This course focuses on advanced planning, including data actions, planning functions, allocations, and currency translations. Additional units will cover the forecasting and data simulation functionality, data access controls, and the calendar process tool. The course material will be delivered in English. This course is a deep-dive course. Please ensure that you have taken the SACM21, SACS21, and SACP23 courses or have equivalent foundational knowledge of the overview topics covered in those courses.

Automate the processing of plan data using data actions.
Set up planning functions that execute calculations within a model or between models.
Set up and perform allocation of plan data.
Set up and perform currency translations.
Work with forecasting and data simulation functionality (Smart Predict, value driver trees, and compass).
Set up data access controls to prevent data changes by either data entry or by planning operations in a story.
Track the planning process using the calendar process tool.

SACP23 - Performing Manual Planning with SAP Analytics Cloud or prior experience with SAP Analytics Cloud planning.
SACM21 - SAP Analytics Cloud Data Modeling or prior experience with SAP Analytics Cloud modeling.
