This course is designed for new consultants seeking thorough knowledge of Financial Accounting in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and aiming to pass the associate certification exam (C_S4CFI). The exam is not included in this academy and has to be booked individually.
This academy can serve as a useful step towards your certification, but please note it does not cover the full scope required for the certification exam. Additional self-paced courses at learning.sap.com will be necessary to fully prepare. These courses are detailed in the 'how-to-prepare' section of the certification description.

Learning outcomes

In this course, attendees will obtain fundamental knowledge how to configure and use the following areas in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition:
Record-to-Report

After attending this class, you will be able to effectively handle accruals and manage financial reporting facets using the SAP S/4HANA Cloud system. You will demonstrate proficiency in utilizing semantic tags, conducting balance sheet and profit and loss reports, performing cash flow analysis, and tracking general ledger account alterations with accuracy and efficiency. This part will prepare you to configure G/L accounts, FI documents Tax Codes, and Extension Ledgers.

Payables Management:

You will learn how to execute down payments, set up and configure payment runs, and automate accounts payable processes using provided tools and systems with accuracy and efficiency.

Receivables Management:

You will be able to correctly execute Special G/L Transactions, such as Posting Guarantees and Down Payments, in integration with Sales and Distribution.

Asset Accounting

This part will enable you to execute year-end closing activities and configure and validate asset class functionalities, including account determination, valuation settings, and master data management, with accuracy and precision.
