Course announcements

  • This course covers all of the functions of Procure-to-Pay and Procure- to-Order related to the creation of requisitions, the issuing of purchase orders, and receiving against purchase orders. This course will also discuss the business processes automated by the Ariba Procurement Solutions and the instructor will explain how to use each feature. A mix of lecture, demonstrations and lab exercises facilitate the learning process.

  • Describe the requisition-approval process including "to-do" portlet, email-based approval, smart phone approval features and delegation of authority

  • Outline the receiving process including receiving items, multistage receiving, receiving process flow, partial receiving, receipt approval, and rejecting items
  • Search for documents such as requisitions, purchase orders, receipts, etc.
  • Run pre-packaged reports for financial analysis and approvable status
