Course announcements

  • This course begins by illustrating the SAP Business Technology Platform, providing an overview of administrative tasks and responsibilities with guidance resources.
  • The architecture of global accounts, subaccounts, services, and runtime environments such as Cloud Foundry, Kyma (Kubernetes), and ABAP are explained. Additionally, tools like the SAP BTP Cockpit, SAP Discovery Center, and command-line interfaces (CLI) are employed in exercises. Participants will learn how to create destinations, operate the Cloud Connector, create, assign, and manage role collections with predefined roles, and understand SAP HANA Cloud and database offerings.
  • Application lifecycle management (ALM) is discussed, comparing the features of SAP Solution Manager, SAP Focused Run, and SAP Cloud ALM, including monitoring in the SAP BTP Cockpit. Furthermore, the SAP Cloud Transport Management Service (cTMS) is introduced.
